Oct 04, 2009 I've tried several times recently to install Hermes cIOS 222/223 v4 and cant get it to work. I think I was able to install the previous version at one time a long time ago and toyed with uloader.
I was looking at some of the mods I had on my wii and I noticed that I had Hermes cIOS v5.1 installed to 20260, 22238, 22337, and 22457.I know that some games (notably Guitar Hero and Rock Band) require Hermes cIOS to run. However, those guides refer to the v4 version (38 merged with 37).I was wondering what would be the comparable setup to get the games working using the v5.1 installer. Would it be the base 37 that I have installed to slot 223?

I'm away from my apartment so can't check on my wii if the game will boot on that IOS (but will update once I can try).Would v5 work or will I need to overwrite the cIOS with the older v4 installer?.
