Hello, i am part of IT support team that helps resolving students/users issues with spss statistics 22 deployment on their laptops. Since our department do not own any Mac notebooks, troubleshooting is very frustrated for us compared to Windows base deployment which worked seamlessly. The current issue we have is for some reason we don't know, after installing spss statistics 22 using the dmg package on the DVD media and after running the licensing wizard properly, when users try to run the software for the first time, a 'Server Login' dialog shows up and they cannot proceed further. A screen shot is attached to this post.The little time we got to work with the various MacBooks found that the problem may be related to the network interface that is in use. If users uses the Airport Wifi Interface on the MacBooks the 'Server Login' dialog will pop up. But if they use the Ethernet Lan interface the software run flawlessly as should be and licensed.In our deployment scheme, we don't have any network license server on campus network for wireless or wired connection. (we are using single user licensing and temporarily usage)Can anyone with knowledge with Mac help, pls?
